3.0 Scoring and Statistic Introduction
When a child is tested, it will score from 1 to 5 per item. This is called the Raw Score. The examiner will put all the raw scores into a scorelist on this website. Raw item scores will be transferred into Standard Deviation Scores.
The Standard Deviations vary from -2 to +3 per item, in which < -1 means under average, 0 means average, and > 1 is above average. The examiner can print out a table and graphic of all the item S.D.’s as well as the mean Standard Deviation per theoretical group and a total S.D. for the full test.
